Branding Style Guide and Social Media Templates
Jill met me at a TypeThursdayLA event in Santa Monica, CA where I was presenting my branding artwork to my typography enthusiast community, a non-profit creative organization that I've been involved with since 2017. We had a nice chat at the end of the event about her work and mine and we exchanged contacts immediately.
From our introduction, I learned that Jill is a super talented and amazing award-winning photographer, a best-selling author and a creative director. If you haven't seen her work, it will blow you away. I know, it blew me away. At that time, she was working on producing a travel podcast, called "Travel in Style," and needed a style guide for branding and marketing graphic templates to promote her show.
We had our initial meeting where I learned more about her company, the brands she partners with, her design goals and her style preferences. I started with a mood board of all the thoughts, and ideas that we discussed. She really loved the cover look of Condé Nast's Travelers magazine. Her colors of choice were hues of blue. Our inspiration images were the beautiful travel photos she captured on her many trips around the world. Jill's work is so elegant, luxurious and sophisticated, it was only fitting to create a graphic style to match exactly the dignified persona she emanates.
